Rather complete, BenQ E55 is a clamshell phone equipped with a simple alphanumeric keypad. It will be equipped with a screen 2-inch TFT displays a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels and 256k colors. On the outside of the phone, a second screen twice smallest was added. With only 95 grams, 94 mm in height, 48 mm wide and 19 mm thick, the E55 is not very imposing.

It loads 45 MB of internal memory expandable by Micro SD limited to 2 GB, XHTML browser to enjoy 3G connectivity and a second VGA sensor for digital video. Of course, there is a MP3/MPEG4 player and a digital camera 2 MégaPixels.

The manufacturer announced 2:40 autonomy in communication and 180 hours of standby time for a battery Li-Ion 900 mAh. The BenQ E55 will be available later this month in red or brown.
