Canon announces the launch of the new best seller in the range of PowerShot digital compact: the PowerShot G10. Successor of the PowerShot G9, the G10 is the first device to allow Series G framing in wide-angle (28 mm equivalent) with a 5x optical zoom with optical image stabilization. On the other hand, the sensor 14.7 million pixels and the new image processor Canon DIGIC 4 ensures exceptional image quality.
Wide-angle high quality
With an optical zoom wide-angle 5x (28-140 mm), the PowerShot G10 combines a scoping potential in wide-angle impressive, ideal for photos of landscape, architecture or interior, and a large beach of powerful telephoto zoom up to 140 mm. It offers great flexibility in composition. The optical image stabilizer incorporated in the Canon zoom ensures images free of motion blur over the whole range of zooming in to increase stability with a performance equivalent to a gain of 4 shutter speeds.
Resolution of 14.7 million pixels and recording RAW
The CCD 14.7 million pixels is the highest resolution currently available in the PowerShot range, works in synergy with the new Canon DIGIC processor 4 to produce perfect images that are characterized by a wealth of detail and noise Electronic extremely low.
