Here comes a very tiny but yet useful software utility - ING Change Font that can help to change your default font on your Windows Mobile devices.

Users can download the .cab file and transfer it through active sync to the mobile device. Just launch the application and it will bring users to a simple GUI for quick setup. Basically there are four font settings that can be configured independently, namely Font System, Font Menu, Font PopUp and Font OOM. And for each font setting, user can choose from a drop down list of nine different fonts such as Courier New, MS Sans Serif, Tahoma, Abscissa and etc. In case you think the font size is too tiny, there is an option to adjust its dimension up to 1600 (by default it is 800). However, users may need to verify the actual effect after soft reset so that it won’t appear to be too huge in your tiny mobile screen.
The software utility is downloadable at MobileHTC free of charge and is compatible with Windows Mobile version 5, 6 and 6.1.
Previously we mentioned about Skype 2.2.0.45 released for Windows Mobile 6.1, now there is a newer version of Skype version 2.5 that has just being made available to public, as an effort to continuously improving the version for better penetration to the market space.

With the P565, Asus puts the power in the heart of its new Windows Mobile smartphone with the Marvell mobile processor the fastest in the market. This model touch-oriented professional, integrates for the first time a processor (Marvell) 800 MHz, where the most powerful smartphones time with processors operate between 500 and 600 MHz.

One of the great new features I am starting to enjoy on my BlackBerry Storm is the ability for it to play multimedia files and specifically audio (music).
First let’s take a look at the video and audio formats supported by BlackBerry Storm:
Video format support: MPEG4 H.263, MPEG4 Part 2 Simple Profile, H.264, WMV
Audio format support: MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, WMA ProPlus
Basically, when you buy music from iTunes, it comes with a copyright protection called DRM. These DRM-protected songs are locked so that they only work with Apple MP3 players. That means that if you have a BlackBerry Storm, you cannot use iTunes music.
So, what is the solution? You have to burn a CD. When you do this, the DRM is removed (because the music is converted to a non-DRM-compatible media). After you burn the CD, you can rip it to your PC as an MP3 file which no longer has DRM.
Alternatively, you can use TuneClone. TuneClone makes a virtual CD-ROM drive, tricking your PC into believing that you are burning a CD. Therefore, the DRM is removed without wasting a CD.

After you get the output MP3 files, you can now begin to transfer them to your BlackBerry Storm:
1. Connect your BlackBerry to you computer via the USB cable.
2. If you have properly enabled your Blackberry as a Mass Storage Device, your Blackberry’s microSD card will show as a removable drive on your computer.
3. Double click on the Blackberry folder.
4. Double click on the music folder.
5. Copy your music files to your BlackBerry.
6. Disconnect your Blackberry from the USB cable and go to the “Multimedia” icon on you Blackberry. You need to disconnect when you use the Mass Storage device method as it disables direct access from the BlackBerry when connected to the PC via the USB cable.
7. Click on the Music icon.
8. Click on the Media Card folder.
9. Select your Music folder.
10. Select your Song.
11. Play and enjoy.

After a week of playing with Google and the new HTC Android phone, I can say that there is a huge promise of the platform.
Let's break it down into two major components and to focus there - hardware and operating system.
Construction equipment and design. Off the bat, the phone G1 is ugly - period. We have seen many phones come from HTC but the HTC Dream is really strange one. I think this model was conceived way back in 2003. And despite the plastic body, it is still heavy and bulky by hand.
A number of people asked me why the phone is tilted at the lower end. I realized the slight projection was made to give a better grip when handling and positioned horizontally to take pictures.
The well-spaced QWERTY keyboard benefited from the vast body of the G1. Since keyboards are hidden from the cursor keys are buried in the pad, you do not have a lot of comments when you tap them. The keyboard is also heavily focused on the left side of your right thumb will be hard to reach the Middle keys.
In front, there are 5 buttons and a ball that serves as the main navigation and shortcuts to phone usage. The ball to their environment is very easy to use, especially when running through long lists such as contacts or Playlist and the exploration of objects and links during browsing. It also serves as an OK button.
The user interface and operating system. This is the first time I used a new operating system on a mobile phone. We are already very familiar with the Symbian operating system, Windows Mobile, Palm OS and iPhone OS. The platform Android Google gives better results for the first generation of operating system. It's fast, it is flexible and integrates well with Google Apps.
The main interface works like a desktop with icons scattered across 3 tracks. It's like an extended desktop, you can browse through (similar to the iPhone, but only limited to 3). There is also a sidebar that stretches across the screen that contains shortcuts to many functions or installed applications. What is really pleasing is that alerts are non-intrusive - there is a small symbol sliding surface at the top of the screen to indicate the SMS and other notifications (with a lively sound and vibration).
Imagine this platform on your preferred phone? T-Mobile G1 is just a test model. Once we see more and more models to come out with it in Android, the it becomes clear to us that the platform is really a strong competitor against the iPhone OS.
This time it's official! Nokia has formalized the next release of its next N-Series
